This fixture was specially designed to provide quick changeover and re-tooling of a product assembly station for an automotive component manufacturer. It provides positive retention of the product during the assembly cycle while allowing easy load and unload by the operator. Adjustment features allow this single fixture to be quickly reconfigured to support a family of products.

Manufacturing equipment
Cardboard pallet assembler
Designed and built for a cardboard box manufacturer, this custom machine folds and assembles cardboard pallet runners. It includes:
- automated sheet feeder for die cut stock
- separator for components and waste
- folding and assembly stations
- indexing and alignment interface to the high speed product conveyor.
Chrome line tooling
Electronic chip tooling
This electronic chip production tooling module includes a bayonet mount with over-center latch. It provides quick change-over while maintaining precision referencing of product to the tooling. The machine interface includes electrical and fluid connections with coded flagging for automatic tool identification and monitoring. A specially designed actuation system supports high speed tool motion while limiting accelerations on delicate electronic components and avoiding part ejection.
Fiberglass Pipe End-Prep Machine
This custom designed machine uses standard sanding belts to accurately clean and true the ends of both straight and bent fiberglass pipe. Designed to be quickly adjusted, this machine can handle pipe sizes from 2-8 inches. Pneumatic controls and a dust containment system minimizes health and safety risks.
Magnet dispenser/feeder
This device is designed to dispense high strength magnets used in the assembly of OEM automotive components. The Dispenser reliably separates individual magnets from a stack and presents them for ready access by the machine operator. The design virtually eliminates jamming and misfeeds common to the hardware it was designed to replace. A locking magazine supports material tracking and control requirements.
